Simply complete this Consignment Form, listing intended equipment you wish to sell and return ASAP.  An LVG representative will be in contact to discuss what your equipment is worth, your options and our rates of commission.  Upon approval you will be assigned a consignor number and can begin shipping your equipment.

Once you have decided to consign, LVG will handle maximum exposure of consigned items through an effective advertising campaign.

  • Professionally designed flyers and email newsletters mailed out to our entire mailing list of over 30,000 potential buyers
  • We ensure maximum internet exposure by posting auction dates, photos and details about your equipment on our website www.lvgauctions.com, other industry related websites, and buy/sell marketplace sites
  • Additional online exposure is created through various online marketing strategies (email blasts, banner ads, S.E.O., blogs and social networking ads and videos)
  • Print advertising is published in many industry related trade publications and magazines; they are published on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • All LVG sales are advertised in local, provincial and national newspapers.  This ensures maximum exposure around the country.
  • Your item(s) are listed in our detailed listing catalogue; this catalogue is found online and is given out to each buyer on the day of the auction.  This catalogue includes specifications and thorough description of all the equipment in each auction.

What's Your Equipment Worth [back to top]

Before you commit to consigning your equipment, you might want an indication of what your piece may be worth.  Our experienced, CPPA accredited appraisers use the most up-to-date and  past auctions results, along current fair market value to convey an estimate what kind of money your assets could bring.

If you would like an LVG representative to provide you with this information, fill out the Consignor Form and complete all the particulars of the piece.

Upon receiving this information, decision making could be easier.

Remember:  LVG is an unreserved public auction and although every attempt is made to obtain the maximum dollar, sale prices vary.

Standard Terms [back to top]

  • A 10%  Buyers Premium is charged and retained by LVG
  • Any vehicles or trailers are subject to a PPSA Search prior to & after the sale at a cost of $60.00 per unit
  • All other items that do not have ownership will be subjected to a PPSA Search by individual or company name at a cost of $30.00
  • A $5.00 OMVIC Transfer fee is applied if your vehicle is sold to an individual or company that is not an OMVIC Dealer
  • Any lots that sell over $1,000.00 are subject to a 2% Administrative & Handling Fee
  • Any lots that sell under $1,000.00 are subject to a 25% Commission
  • The HST is collected & submitted to the Government, on your behalf,  by LVG Auctions

Ready to Consign [back to top]

When your mind is made up and you have decided to consign equipment, print out our Contract, read carefully, sign and return to LVG via fax to 905-584-1218 or Email info@lvgauctions.com.

An LVG will review, contact you and provide you with a consignor number for the auction sale.

Consignors Responsibilities [back to top]

  • Provide LVG with information you would like included in the catalogue listing.  Year, Model #,
  • Serial #, Hours, Odometer Reading and any special features give potential buyers a better
  • perspective. 
  • Simply fill out the Consignor Form and list all equipment. Then fill out our Contract, sign and return to LVG via fax to 905-584-1218 or Email info@lvgauctions.com
  • Label your equipment with the consignor # and list prior to delivery.
  • Provide your transport company with all your contact information and consignor #.
  • Any ownerships or titles should be signed off and delivered with your goods.
  • Maintain insurance on your property until 10 days after sale date.
  • Once goods have been consigned no pieces can be removed from LVG premises unless asked to do so.
  • No consignors will bid up or on any of their equipment
  • Should consignors bid against their own equipment  a 20% buy back penalty will apply and no further consignments will be accepted.

Settlement and Payout [back to top]

Once payment has been received on your consigned goods, you will receive a detailed breakdown of the selling price and all commission and administrative charges.  The cheques are mailed out within 16 business days after the sale.

In the event that we are unable to collect on your goods, an LVG rep will contact and you are given the opportunity to either remove your equipment or re-consigned them to the next auction.  No storage charges will apply in this event.
